Kinesiology

Kinesiology is a way of dealing with health and emotional issues using links between specific muscles and other systems in your body.

After taking a full case history, the therapist tests different muscles for your ability to hold them firm when pressure is applied.  It’s not a trial of strength but the ability to hold steadily against a resistance.

If a problem is found, the therapist may get you to think about a difficult situation, a type of food, or use samples of food and other things an see if it changes your pattern.

This can then be used to guide further treatment, such as changes to your diet, a different way of handling emotional issues, or referring you to a specialist in a different field.
